Taihei-no-Yu (Namba branch) sits on the second floor of the 300-year-old Kizu Wholesale Market building — an unusual setting even by Osaka standards. The centerpiece is a 4-meter circular carbonated-spring bath nicknamed the “heart bath” for its circulation-boosting effect, alongside a milky-white “silk bath” known for its fine bubbles and mineral-rich feel. There are four rock-bed sauna rooms, including sessions with löyly-style steam service. Because the bathhouse sits directly above the market, the on-site restaurant serves fish sourced straight from the market floor that morning.
